LittleFeet Environmental
Littlefeet Environmental is a Non-profit organisation that specialises in marine turtle conservation and research through community involvement and education.
“Littlefeet Environmental is a Jersey (Channel Islands) registered not for profit organisation. We currently work on the Island of Jersey conducting educational workshops and seminars that give Islanders the tools to live a greener and more sustainable lifestyle. As an Island, we conduct shoreline cleanups each weekend to ensure the safety of both the people and species that we share our beaches with. We work hand in hand with other local, specialized organisations to ensure the greatest environmental impact.
Overseas, we are currently working in the southern Mexican Caribbean having created ‘The Costa Maya Turtle Project.’ This is a research and conservation initiative dedicated to analysing and preserving the marine turtle populations that can be found here through the in-water research of three nationally protected areas; the Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve, the Sian Ka’an World Heritage Site and Xcalak National Marine Park.
We welcome volunteers from all over the world to participate in our volunteering regimes whether it be in Jersey removing marine debris from local beaches or in the sunny Caribbean learning how to dive along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.”
